Amateur Radio

Amateur Radio Station G0VOF.

I have been interested in radio from a very early age and in 1993 I passed the Radio Amateurs Examination and was issued with the class B callsign G7RRG. In December 1993 I passed the 12 words per minute UK amateur Morse code test and was issued with the class A callsign G0VOF. The equipment I use on HF is an Icom IC 725 HF transceiver, the antenna I use on 80/40/30/20 metres is a 60 metre horizontal loop at about 6 metres above the ground and on 17/15/12/10 metres I use an Antron 99 which is a half-wavelength vertical on 10 metres. I am also occasionally active on 2 metres and 70 centimetres .
